Weekly Bits of Awesome: Mar 25-Apr 1

Hello Lovely People,

I'm including Monday in this weekly bit of awesome mostly due to it being part of the long weekend. For those who celebrate it, hope you had a fantastic Easter! Here's my bits of awesome things that helped me get through life this week.

- Roommate made delicious oreo chocolate smoothies. The reason was because boyfriend broke up with me but still, they were good!
- Found out that Helvetica is the most used font in the world, not Times New Roman, Arial or Courier, but Helvetica!
- More cherry blossoms were blooming! So pretty!
- Created a super ghetto home-made deck of Cards Against Humanity with Roommate and Roommates boyfriend, made out of cut up index cards.
- Went to Deep Cove, a beautiful spot in North Vancouver, where myself and Brother-From-Another-Mother walked along the beach, climbed cherry trees and fallen logs (and fell off them), as well as discovered a gelato store that had a little moving train set between it.
- Visited and slept over at Brother-From-Another-Mother's old home, kinda like a second home for me, I haven't been back for a while.
- Watched my first sketch I ever wrote be rehearsed, it actually wasn't horrible, thank god for amazing actors!
- Played a super geeky game called ShadowRun with some friend who I never get the chance to hang out with.
- Fist pumped out the car window to "Call Me Maybe" with Brother-From-Another-Mother in the middle of a traffic jam. The little kid in the car next to use joined in!
- Hung out with a friend I had not seen for a while on a beautiful day! We walked around Stanley Park, met a guy who was showing people the sun through his telescope, visited the Aquarium, had chocolate cake, got free facials at Lush and had a lovely dinner with her parents afterwards. Totally got sunburned!
- Game of Thrones and Doctor Who restarted!
- Learn that the best fish Captain Cook ever had was apparently a salmon wrapped in seaweed with a starch stuffed inside. My friends father has been trying to find out what the recipe was since he heard the story.
-Went to the beach with some friends from school, has the first swim in the Pacific of the year! FREEZING cold! The tide was low so we got to walk way out into the bay, swam up and touched one of the marker places. We got some beautiful views of Vancouver/ the mountains as well as saw the Coast Guard Hover Craft! Also got sunburned again!

That's what was awesome this week! Till the next post, keep on smiling!
