Here were my highlights of the week! Hope y'all had some great weeks too!
- Spent half a day with only one contact in. Wasn't so much awesome as interesting to switch between one blind eye and the other, very weird experience.
- Reread one of my favourite teen books, Paper Towns by John Green.
- Had a petting spree with the department dog, HE WAS SO SOFT AND ADORABLE! I want one!
- Had dinner with my Brother-From-Another-Mother's-Mother, she is one of my favourite people, it was great to catch up.
- Went to see Brother-From Another-Mother's musical Assassin's (by Stephen Sondheim). Both funny and philosophical/controversial, a good mix, look it up!
- Discovered the perfect album to listen to while on my daily Skytrian commute (Viva La Vida - Coldplay)
- Started my week of silence, so far so good but more update on that next week!
- Got rained on by cherry blossom petals as well as tried to start a cherry blossom petal fight, like confetti!
- Watched Avatar: The Last Airbender and played geeky games with friends from school.
- Watched two of my friends spar, I've never actually seen anyone do a sword fight up close before, it was really neat to watch the body movements and flow.
- Wrote the second episode of my comedy webseries for school.
- Surprise visit from friends coming back from Korea! Their flight got delayed, but consequently the got to spend the night here in Vancouver, so we're not complaining! Twas a night of frivolity, seeing the sights, highjinks, stories from university, puzzles and an abundance of alcohol, food, music and joy!
