Here is last week's little bits of awesome!
- Decorated room-mates door for her birthday! Lots and lots of balloons everywhere!
- Discovered a partridge berry tea that makes my house smell like my mother's partridge berry muffins :)
- Acted out my entire presentation in a class due to my week of silence challenge! I mimed dying so much that I accidentally gave myself bruises on my hips but it was worth it!
- Helped carry props and set pieces over to the the cafe where we had our sketch show. This is mostly awesome because it reminded me of the time I was in a Tintamarre, a travelling theatre troupe, setting up and taking down our set wherever we went.
- Saw three super sketch shows, all written by writers in my class, all excellent! My own sketch went super well despite the surprise cunnilingus that the actors threw in (I wrote that they started "doing it" and they just went the extra mile apparently!)
- Took a long walk on my way home on a beautiful day, saw some kids using painting sheets as a tent, it was adorable.
- Finished a week of silence! It was... intense! I finished with friends all around me, which was awesome but also overwhelming. It is really hard to talk when you haven't talked into a week and ten people are staring at you! Updates on that particular challenge coming soon!
- The schedule for Sasquatch Music festival came out! EXCITED!
- Turned 23! I celebrate in many ways including a solo hike, a jump from a cliff into glacier fed water, supper with my surrogate Vancouver family, a rousing game of Catan and surprise cheesecake! Thanks to all those who made my birthday special :)
